Ingredients: Green tea, Yuzu
A fresh, unique take on traditional Kukicha, this blend delivers a sweet and tart cup of tea. Yuzu, a type of Japanese citrus, perfectly compliments the richer, sweeter nature of Kukicha. Kukicha differs from other traditional green teas in that it comes from the stems and twigs of the plant, rather than the leaves. This lends the tea a nutty, somewhat earthy flavour. Yuzu, high in vitamin C like most citrus, brings a fresh zestiness that elevates the earthy tones of the Kukicha.
Kukicha is packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and polyphenols, the same compounds in the green tea leaves which are known to help fight cancer. Additionally, Kukicha helps aid in producing bile, which stimulates the digestive processes, combats heavy fatigue, and helps with detoxification while alkalizing the body. Simultaneously, the yuzu infusion works to reduce inflammation and promote heart health, as well as delivering a healthy dose of vitamin C

Very Refresing Tea w/ Citrus Notes
For a punch of refreshing Citrus, kukicha is even better than a lemongrass green tea. The actual tea included in the blend is high quality too, it can be steeped for a long time and still tastes awesome

This is a really lovely tea, a must try for spring and summer. Like other green tea it only takes a moment to brew and with water that isn't too hot and very short brewing time (a few seconds) it will come out sweet and rich in umami with a fantastic Yuzu flavour. Really love it, will be drinking this hot and iced and will be ordering again. Definitely worth trying if you like green teas! The stems that make up this Kukicha are very high quality.
