Origin: USA / Canada
Qualities: Broccoli sprouts are the germinated seeds of broccoli that have a radishy taste and look similar to alfalfa sprouts. They are rich in beta-carotene and vitamins C, E, K and A and have among the highest concentrations of sulforaphane, a dietary component of cruciferous vegetables that has been shown to benefit autism and suppress the ability of breast cancer stem cells to form tumors. Some studies suggest that consumption of broccoli sprouts may improve survival rates of bladder cancer patients, help protect skin cells from sun damage, and potentially boost liver detoxification. Check out “Biggest Nutrition Bang for your Buck” for additional nutrition info.
Common Use: Broccoli sprouting seeds should be soaked for 4-6 hours, and will sprout in 5-7 days. They need to be thoroughly rinsed with cool, clean water every 8-12 hours. Refrigerate your sprouts after their final rinse.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.

Sprout quite well - yummy
Organic broccoli seeds
Only about one quarter of the seeds sprouted. Taking longer than expected. The smell was really bad. Had to dump it all. The mixed sprouts were very good.

Amazing little seed
I have been ordering broccoli seeds through Organics Matter for awhile. One of the only places I can find them. I have a jar sprouting all the time. I use the sprouts in a sandwich or in a salad. I’ve heard tat theses sprouts have lots of health benefits.
Broccoli Sprouts
I grow soil sprouts in the winter. The sunflower seeds I grow in my garden and plant in trays, come up slowly, so I put broccoli seed in the spaces. The broccoli sprouts come up quickly and are eaten up before the sunflower sprouts take over. They are highly nutritious.
