Organic Green Yerba Mate is a celebrated cultural staple harvested from the subtropical regions of South America. Our Mate is grown wild in Brazil among local flora and fauna, and it is harvested every two years in alternating patches. This traditional beverage is known for its refreshing, slightly bitter flavour and stimulating properties. Yerba Mate has been consumed for centuries, first by the indigenous Guaraní and Quechua people. Today, it remains a widely consumed staple across South America. Mate is a well-balanced stimulant with caffeine levels falling between those of green tea and coffee. It is commonly prepared as a tea, either hot or cold (tereré), and can be enjoyed with milk, honey, lemon, or mint.
