ORGANIC MILK THISTLE SEED, whole
SKU: HM13-025
Hurry up! Sales Ends In
Botanical Name: Silybum marianum
Origin: Bulgaria
Production: Milk thistle has red/purple flowers and shiny green leaves. Seeds are harvested by removing flower heads in the late spring or early summer at the end of the growing season, drying, and then removing seeds.
Qualities: Milk thistle has been used for over 2000 years as a herbal treatment for a variety of ailments including kidney, liver, and gallbladder problems. Several scientific studies suggest that components in milk thistle (specifically the flavonoid silymarin) protect the liver from toxins.
Common Use: The seeds are most commonly used to make teas (see our Liver Tea Blend), tinctures, and infusions, but they can also be used as a food. They contain 25% protein and have a nutty flavor similar to flax seeds. They can be used raw or toasted in cereals, loaves of bread, smoothies, shakes, and salads.
Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry location in a sealed container.
Safety: We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using any herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.

The first time I received the goods on time, but the second time the goods arrived late, and I had to buy this product in a more expensive store.I would like to wish you to be more attentive to your clients.Well now I will say what I liked. I like your product because it is clean, there is no dust or dirt.

So guys what's a good strong quantity of Milk thistle seed per cup? One tablespoon per cup of boil water is good or too much?
Milk Thistle Seed
I was very pleased with the order
Excellent product
I make organic dog treats and love my Organic matters products. The milk thistle I grind to a powder and include. The spirulina and turmeric I also use in dog treats but so take these myself as well.
Milk Thistle seeds
I grind these seeds and sprinkle over my breakfast and also sprinkle over my elderly dog’s food. They are great tasting and healthy for the liver!
