Cooked up beatuifully

I enjoyed the navy beans! I made a pot of baked beans in the instant pot and they were great! (I did a quick soak, meaning I brought them to a boil first, then allowed them to sit for several hours, and then cooked them in the recipe.) I thought I’d made enough for the kids to take some to school in their lunches, but it all got eaten up that night

Cool beans

Love these beans for Boston baked beans , soaked first, then boiled till tender ( important ) drained again , then into the oven with other ingredients.

They are my new favourite bean. I made baked beans with molasses, onions, mustard etc. They were delicious.

Navy Bean soup

I saoked them overnight and they cooked up wonderfully the next day. I added tomatoes, carrots, onions, a parsnip, celery and abay leaf for a great kitchen sink soup. Delicious. The bean were soft and smooth.
