Food grade Diatomaceous earth (dt) is a great product which replaces many dangerous pesticides and chemicals both in the garden and home. It’s action on insects and bugs is physical not chemical. The powder scratches the insects’ cuticle and kills them by dehydration.. it is safe to use in the home. Use a cheap paintbrush to spread a thin layer either in the house, maybe where pets sleep or on plants outside. Make sure the product is labeled « Food grade  as non-food grade « de » is also used with other chemicals for pools and should not be consumed.
