Excellent quality product

We own a small business, and we try to find the best quality products while also supporting other small or medium businesses. We strive on using the most natural and organic ingredients so our products are processed as little as possible by machines and human hands. As someone with food allergies and chemical allergies myself, I found it difficult to find food products that could suit my needs. I wanted other people like me to be able to have high-quality treats and food that fit many dietary restrictions, while also sharing many recipes from my European and Middle Eastern ancestry, and bring it all to Canadians. OM Foods has ingredients that fit our strict needs while delivering the best quality. Shipping is also fast, which is convenient when we have issues getting enough supplies, and the team is very helpful. I cannot recommend them enough!

ORGANIC POPPY SEEDS, black ?

Firstly I'll mention my overall experience of receiving them if I may? The seeds arrived in great time, especially considering how far they had travelled from B C. The seeds were packed in a strong container being well packed for transit on top of that. I may have missed it in the original ad but I was pleased to see Turkey , as country of origin. These seeds were purchased as a gift for a younger middle aged couple who have moved to a small rural acreage and away from the big city. They both have a strong histories of Naturopathic Medicine. Red Oak tree seedlings I grew from acorns form a property line for them on one side of their property would like some colorful company. The majority of the seeds produced I'm sure will be more than ample for their Kitchen uses which haven't happened yet. The overall plan for these seeds is to be scattered in the fall and liberally spread around the oaks for over the acreages frontage for a beautiful viewing opportunity outside and the feeling of knowing they're home grown poppy seeds on your bagels.

Not quite organic

In a technical sense they may well be purely organic. I am am very positive that they'd been washed, however. They were lacking in flavour, plus unwashed poppy seeds have a light, aromatic, almost flowery scent, where these were quite odourless. So definitely processed, whether they were organic or not. Sorry to be negative but people need to know what they're getting when placing an order.
