We ensure sustainable harvesting practices are used, including leaving 30% unharvested to promote the fungi’s renewal and protect the host birch trees.

Chaga has a long history of traditional use across Russia, Asia, and North America. The most popular way to enjoy it is by making a tea, which is done by simmering the chunks in water for an hour or more. This process extracts the dark brown colour and mild taste. The mushroom pieces can be reused until they stop colouring the water, making this a very economical ingredient.
