Botanical Name: Verbascum thapsus
Origin: Bulgaria
Production: Mullein is a leafy, fuzzy plant that grows in a rosette shape with a shoot emerging from the middle that produces small, densely grouped, yellow flowers. The flannel-like leaves are harvested in the second year.
Qualities: Mullein leaf has a long history of use in herbal medicine, mostly for the treatment of respiratory ailments such as coughs, hoarseness, colds, earaches, flu symptoms, allergies, and sore throat. Mullein can also be used topically to soothe wounds, burns and irritated skin.
Common Use: Mullein can be used alone to brew a mild, earthy, and pleasant tasting tea, or it can be blended with other herbs such as gotu kola, licorice root, or calendula. Mullein is also used in ear oil recipes.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.

If you want to smoke this as herbal cigarettes, i would look elsewhere. There are soo many stem pieces, It's hard to roll and doesn't burn well.. Stems drop out and burn you, your cloths and floor. Fine for tea, but even then, stems should be reduced..

Had covid for 3 weeks and I’m asthmatic so just couldn’t shake the heavinesses in my lungs. Got my mullein and infuse with my lemon ginger in the morning and in 3 days of use my lungs feel cleared and light and I can breath easier. I use a paper teabag and that helps to keep from swallowing too many of the lil hairs from the mullein.
