This root has been cultivated for over 2,000 years in challenging conditions at elevations up to 15,000 feet, where few other crops thrive. The raw powder is produced using a low-heat process: the roots are dried and finely ground, but never heated above 103°F (45°C), which helps preserve its constituents.

Maca is naturally high in essential minerals, including calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, and zinc, and also contains protein, fibre, and amino acids. A teaspoon per day keeps the energy OK>

I have ben using this product for many years now ad this I my second time ordering it from Organic Matters. price was good, service and delivery are excellent. I use the product by putting a heaped teaspoon in my herbal tea in the mornings. I feel that it keeps my energy levels up and it makes me feel good, all around.

Great product, good deal

I usually purchase Peruvian Maca powder through Costco or through our local health food store,. Then I discovered OM Foods on line and was pleasantly surprised about the much lower price I was charged . Still top quality and I use it every day in my morning herbal tea or in some water, where I dissolve it. On. My next visit to Nelson, I hope to stock up on some other products too and thus save the postage!
